Tired, cold and hungry but still so cute.

Sophia Jane: First 6 months

She's here... and is already 6 months old. I'm going to sound like every Mom out there but I have to say it anyways... where did the time go? The first year of my babies lives seem to fly by. I think part of it is sleep deprivation which tends to make the days and nights a blur. Perhaps the other reason is because of how fast they develop in the first year. So many milestones are reached and it keeps me on my toes. Once I think I have my baby figured out and I'm ready for a schedule, something happens and we start all over again. Life with an infant stays interesting.

Sophia Jane! I can't say enough about our little blessing. She truly adds joy and happiness to our lives. How did we live so long without her? At two months old we could already tell she would be a social butterfly. I think all babies love and need interaction, but compared to Sam and Simone, she is much more vocal, responsive and communicative. While she adores any attention we give her, she is also content with independent play. She's happy to lay on the floor for hours a day and play with her fingers, grab her toes, watch her siblings, babble, scream and blow bubbles. 

She is easy going and normally gives a generous ten minute heads up before she cries. She has made the transition from two to three children a sweet experience. 

I'm looking forward to seeing her grow in the next 6 months.
